I was born and raised in Japan — surrounded by its seasons, its craftsmanship, its quiet rituals of beauty. But from a young age, I was drawn to something beyond Japan's borders. Music, fashion, culture — my influences came from people making their mark in America.

In my early twenties, I finally went. I still remember every detail of that first departure: a Mr. Freedom denim setup, engineer boots, and a ticket to New York City. I stayed for about a month — walking the city every day with my English teacher, absorbing everything.

"Standing in New York for the first time, I thought — I want to make something here. That city gave me a power I've never forgotten. It changed how I think. It's why I keep going."

New York was a turning point. Not just a trip — a shift in perspective. The ambition, the energy, the belief that anything is possible if you simply refuse to stop. I brought that back to Japan, and I've been building ever since. Now, with my team and my family beside me, I have a clear vision: to bring the Japan I grew up loving — its depth, its craftsmanship, its warmth — to people around the world who are ready to receive it.
